Behind the style
A dark ceremonial coat and gold embroidery give your pet a commanding portrait.
Choosing your photo
Choose a sharp, evenly lit photo of one pet with the whole face and both ears visible. The portrait pose is designed for this style; your photo supplies the individual facial features and coat markings.
Choosing this style
The General uses a dark ceremonial coat and gold embroidery for a formal military-inspired portrait. Choose it for an upright, commanding mood. The Admiral is a related choice with naval-blue clothing and maritime details; Black Tie offers formal clothing without the military theme.
Photo tips for this look
Keep the face and both ears unobstructed. Clothing and the formal pose come from the portrait style, so a costume is unnecessary in your photo. Review the head-to-shoulder proportions and collar detail before choosing this version.
Before you order, you’ll see your own pet in your chosen style, not just a sample portrait. Take your time to look over the artwork, check the crop and choose your size and frame. Your preview is free, and you only pay when you decide to order the finished piece.
Your approved artwork is printed on museum-quality enhanced matte paper for a refined, non-glossy finish. A lightweight wooden frame completes the portrait, while a clear acrylic front protects the print. Hanging hardware is included, and your artwork arrives framed—no need to find a separate frame or arrange custom framing.
Picture it beside your favorite family photos, above your desk or in the hallway where they greet you every day. A pet portrait can celebrate a new companion, remember a much-loved friend or make a deeply personal gift. It starts with a photo, but what makes it special is who’s in it.
Made to order
After you approve your portrait and complete checkout, we prepare your order for printing and framing. Delivery time includes both production and shipping—not just the time your package spends in transit.
U.S. delivery
Standard shipping is free to the 48 contiguous U.S. states and Washington, DC. Any applicable taxes and your order total are shown before payment. See our Shipping Policy for production and delivery estimates. Arrival dates are estimates, not guarantees, so please allow extra time for gifts and special occasions.
We’ll share tracking details once your order ships and tracking becomes available. If your package hasn’t arrived after the estimated delivery window, please contact us.
Changes & cancellations
You can request a cancellation or address correction within 2 hours of payment. To request cancellation, use your order page and confirm through the email link within 15 minutes of your request. A link requested within the 2-hour window remains valid until it expires, even after that window closes. Cancellation must meet these deadlines, and your order must not have entered production. Address changes depend on your order’s processing status.

Every portrait is made specifically for you, so we don’t accept change-of-mind returns or refunds once production begins.
