Behind the style

The Star traditionally combines a large central star, smaller lights, water and pouring vessels. This portrait makes the water the closest point of contact: ripples begin beneath the paw, while the two jars pour at the sides as environmental elements, not objects held by the pet.

The pet's low, attentive posture turns hope into observation rather than a grand pose. Deep navy, pale water and painted gold star points create breathing room around the face, so the animal remains present within the night rather than becoming a silhouette under decoration.

Photo & preview checks

Choose a clear three-quarter or front face photo with visible eyes, ears and markings. Gentle light on the face helps it stay recognisable within the deep-blue night palette.

Compare the preview with your photo: check the eyes, ear shape and distinctive markings, then review the crop and how the head meets the body or clothing before approving.

Your approved artwork is printed on museum-quality enhanced matte paper for a refined, non-glossy finish. A lightweight wooden frame completes the portrait, while a clear acrylic front protects the print. Hanging hardware is included, and your artwork arrives framed—no need to find a separate frame or arrange custom framing.
