Behind the style

The High Priestess uses the familiar threshold image of two pillars, a crescent and a concealed scroll. Light and dark columns frame a pause between what is visible and what is held back; the midnight palette makes the small moon accents feel deliberate rather than decorative.

For the pet portrait, the body remains seated and composed, with paws anchoring the scroll in the foreground. That restraint is purposeful: the face does not perform for the viewer, so the animal's own steady gaze carries the atmosphere. Thick blue-black and ivory strokes keep it painterly, not graphic.

Photo & preview checks

A level, well-lit face photo is ideal. Keep both ears, eyes and forehead markings visible; calm expressions help the still pose read as your pet.

Compare the preview with your photo: check the eyes, ear shape and distinctive markings, then review the crop and how the head meets the body or clothing before approving.

Your approved artwork is printed on museum-quality enhanced matte paper for a refined, non-glossy finish. A lightweight wooden frame completes the portrait, while a clear acrylic front protects the print. Hanging hardware is included, and your artwork arrives framed—no need to find a separate frame or arrange custom framing.
